About Miss Anne

Photo: Nathalie Bélanger

"With her unique style, Miss Anne performs a witty blend of original music and (slightly risqué) vintage songs in English and German, accompanying herself on guitar. "

"Miss Anne hearkens back to a time when dirty could still be charming. ..and you weren't fully dressed without a hat!"

"Miss Anne May look very pure and innocent but she is very naughty! That surprise is delightful. Musical & lyrical styles ranging from whimsical to punk, to tongue in cheek, to campy and much more!"

"Miss Anne has a delightful quirkyness, a clear voice and a naughty sparkle in the eye that charms the audience instantly"

Miss Anne comes to life

After the fantastic host Miss Heidi at South Park Abbey, San Diego,
called me Miss Anne I decided to perform under this pseudonym.
My program displays a variety of hand-picked songs of the 40ies-70ies
of the last century, mixed with originals.
Some of the hilarious songs gained fame by Ruth Wallis, Gilda Radner
and Madeline Kahn.

2007 Künstlerin aus Paris

Konzert im Monster Ronson, Warschauer Brücke, Friedrichshain

Poster für den Ackerkeller, Bergstrasse, Mitte

Auftritt im Ä, Weserstrasse, Neukölln

April 2007, Steffanie Kraatz and me founded "Künstlerin aus Paris", a song-performance duo, consisting of a guitar, an accordeon, humour and two voices. We interpretate old berlin songs from the begin of the last century, especially Claire Waldoff, and round up the show with some ocean romantism by, for example Hans Albers.
Künstlerin aus Paris besteht seit 2007 und hat folgende Bandmitglieder: Steffanie Kraatz, Gesang, und mich, Gesang, Gitarre, und Akkordeon. www.myspace.com/kuenstlerinausparis
